We went to the Redskins game. They Lost (big surprise).

It was tons of fun though. Where else can you 1. witness a ton of drunk people acting like animals and 2. get $6 sodas and $3 cookies??? Fedex Field is where it's at.

we went to florida for thanksgiving and then to the keys for the weekend and then home... all in our car. That was about 2,600 miles put on the outback.

a neat park "crane point" in the keys which has some injured birds. they fix them up and release them... how cool is that?

Rick had key lime pie and didn't like it. didn't seem that special to me so i got a cupcake. look how pretty it is!!!!

i get really annoyed when people say "happy turkey day" to me. mainly because it sounds really dorky. second, because i'm a vegetarian, hello.

Sunday we went to Bowie for an autocross. I don't know if there's any other reason to ever go to Bowie / Maryland period. HAHAHA. Just kidding.

It was my first time doing this... Rick's second. I was tooooo slow, but hopefully I'll get better next time. Pretty fun though.

more WRXing

so the WRX has kinda become our cool hobby car. i (Rick) have started modding it, and i've got a lot of stuff planned. here's the latest:

i upgraded all of the shifter assembly bushings from stupid soft rubber to harder plastic (delrin) and replaced the shift lever (shorter throw). now the shifting is much more precise.

also did more maintenance, including putting "sea foam" through the engine. it cleans out carbon deposits and unleashed lots of white smoke from the tailpipe:



finally, i ordered a cool sticker for the back window.
